Parc de la Vallée-aux-Loups (the Valley of Wolves)

Happy Boxing Day! This holiday originated in the United Kingdom as a tradition for employers to give gifts (or cash) to employees or the less fortunate. I think it could be a fun tradition to volunteer or donate to a good cause on this day.

My Boxing Day tradition includes some sort of outdoor exercise (hiking, walking, running, golfing, or climbing to the top of the Eiffel Tower). I always enjoy some exercise to burn off all the food I eat on Christmas day. Since I grew up in Southern California, my family and I went hiking in the local mountains every year.

This year, I went for a nice walk / jog in a beautiful park in the suburbs of Paris. The park is called Parc de la Vallée-aux-Loups (or the Valley of Wolves Park). It’s not well-known because it’s located in the suburbs of Paris, but the very determined can reach the park from the city via public transportation.
