I found out about heat embossing when I was browsing around Paper Source. I think it’s a great arts and crafts tool to own. You’ll need: a heat embossing tool ($24), embossing powder ($6), translucent ink / stamp pad ($9) and a rubber stamp. Now you’re ready to create an embossed design.
I used the heat embossing tool and embossing powder to create a seal for our wedding invitations. I chose an “L” shaped stamp and used white embossing powder to add an “embossed” letter onto an orange sticker.
This is a nice touch to add to wedding invitations; however, you can create many different projects with this tool.
Once you own a heat embossing tool and translucent ink, you can bring any rubber stamp to life. Here’s a very easy tutorial created by Paper Source.
You may also purchase embossed seals (with the letter “L”) from my Esty shop.
