St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner. So why not host a St. Patrick’s Day brunch this weekend or next?
Brunch is a great excuse to spend time with friends and eat delicious, homemade food. And a themed brunch is even better.
I recommend starting with a fruit salad of green apples and green grapes. When I make fruit salads, I always add lemon juice to keep the fruit fresh.
Another fun, green snack: shamrock chips. You can make these chips at home using spinach tortilla wraps. Simply cut the wraps into shapes with shamrock cookie cutters and sprinkle them with olive oil and salt. Then bake the chips in the oven at 375 degrees for about five minutes. You can serve these adorable shamrock chips with guacamole.
Once your brunch menu is complete (maybe add a waffle bar and quiche), purchase some green napkins, plates, and cutlery. Now you’re ready for brunch; just ask your friends to bring Irish beer.
