Chicken Wing Dip

Every Thanksgiving my Aunt makes a delicious chicken wing dip that I’ve always enjoyed after our yearly family football game. I think the dip is so good that I made it for Friendsgiving. And it was a big enough hit that I decided to share the secret family recipe with you (see below).

This dip is a great appetizer to bring to a potluck-style holiday dinner. I also recommend making it for a Superbowl party. But learn from my mistake: the dip gets hard when it cools. So keep the dip warm by serving it in a crockpot or a chaffing dish.

Now that you have your chaffing dishes, you will need the following ingredients:

6 shredded chicken breasts, 2 cups blue cheese, 2 cups cream cheese, 2 cups shredded cheddar (or blended cheese), 1/2 to 1 cup hot sauce

Then follow these steps:

1. Cook and shred the 6 chicken breasts

2. Mix the blue cheese, cream cheese, shredded cheese, and hot sauce. Simmer for 25 minutes.

3. Add the shredded chicken to the mix and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

You can then refrigerate the dish if you are making it a day prior to your event. Just make sure to serve the dip warm.
